Yes, this is correct. Aside from the Carta display, the hardware is identical (as far as I can tell) to the Pearl version of the C67ML. Onyx has been tweaking the firmware (the latest for both being 1.7.2), and each tweak seems to improve some facet of the user experience. I don't usually read PDFs on my C67, so I can't tell you about that. However, Neo Reader in 1.7.2 seems to have improved performance.
