I am currently vacillating betweeen the Kobo Glo HD and the Kindle Paperwhite and I think this information would be crucial 
I have read a lot of test and watched a lot Youtube videos but couldn't find any information about this.

My Kobo Glo HD take 1 second to wake up and display the last page when i use the official cover, i've clocked it
1 second also if i use the power botton.
