I recently thought about the word "yesterday" and how it seems a bit orphaned. You hear of "yesterday" and "yesteryear" but never the following: yesternight, yestermonth, yesterweek, and yesterdecade (among other possibilities). It seems like they would be handy terms to use in some cases (rather than "last week" as an example).
