Seducing Charlotte by Diana Quincy is the 1st in her Accidental Peers series of f/m Regency historical romances, this installment a suspenseful and adventurous (and possibly steamy) one featuring the heated clash between an industrialist and a social reformer who apparently end up settling their differences by bonding over the Luddite acts (

According to the customer reviews, even though this is the 1st-in-series, apparently the 3rd-in-series,
Compromising Willa, is the chronological and written-first-but-published-later and forms a better jumping on point for series-order-readers, in their opinion. YMMV.

Because even though I have a really low likelihood of actually trying this, props to the author for incorporating as a major plot point Real Life Historical Clashes Of Reasonable Significance To The Formation Of The Modern Industrial Age into what's otherwise supposed to be a light, fluffy (well, maybe steamy) entertainment story, and hopefully the Gentle Readers who like having Real History in their historical romances will find this a well-written one.
Enjoy!
