I've just ordered the 7" one for my mother in law. I figured the better speakers would suit her, since she doesn't plan to read on it. She wants it for games, videos, stuff like that.
The 2014 HD 7 seems so huge next to the HD6. Part of the reason is the case I put it in, which is quite bulky. Now this weekend, to see if MIL likes it! I've put it on a separate account, and linked it to my account, so that she can use any of my apps.
