Since I had the problem with Version 1.7.2, I downloaded Version 2 and that worked okay last week.

Since reading that other people were now having problems with Version 2 being able to download, I tried another DRM infested freebie today and was still able to download.

I have now used up virtually all of my credit (gift cards) to get some other books that I wanted before my Version 2 failed to work.

My Version 2 that I only downloaded off the Adobe website last week is 2.01.78765.

I wonder if you need to have that version of 2 to be able to successfully download.

The whole thing is extremely annoying. I had been really pleased that I could buy books from Google. I think now that it is going to be more trouble and angst than it is worth. Either that, or I can only buy non-DRM books from them.

Google are sure making Kobo look good at the moment - and I don't say that lightly
