well I think a kindle cover that also holds your lunch is a great idea

But if we are doing off-the-wall solutions, how about we skip the clothes with many pockets thing and just:
scan all those cards & medical docs & use send to kindle or sideload to kindle so that they exist as documents on device.
Then you just show them on-screen, whenever needed. ( though I expect medics are fussy and what to handle the actual paper versions )

actually I think that £6 cover + docs holder that I linked to previously hits the spot pretty well
