Microsoft provides for free downloads of backup copies of most (if not all?) their applications on their web site for burning to disc as long as one has a key. It would seem unusual if they were to discontinue this practice or not provide an alternative methodology (in the good old days they even used to offer to send you a copy on disc free in the mail).
