Silly of me perhaps! As I mentioned I was using this to launch

$ CALIBRE_NO_NATIVE_FILEDIALOGS=1 calibre

I changed it to
Quote:
|
$ calibre CALIBRE_NO_NATIVE_FILEDIALOGS=1
|
and now file dialog is same as that when I launch calibre from the GUI.
So do I see some hope here, Kovid?
