@Tex2002ans - if the book uses double quotes for dialogue (US style) and single quotes for dialectical contractions then why not select None for single quotes in Dialogue Check Settings.

Harder of course if book uses single quotes for dialogue (UK and the rest style), possessives and dialectical contractions etc
