I wasn't looking forward to this one at all. She *never* made Julian sympathetic throughout the entire series, and the female lead (is it Mellie?) came off as immature and spoiled.

The book wasn't as bad as I expected, but IMO it was only because neither of them were the same people we've seen throughout the series. It's like she gave them entirely new personalities for this book.
