Dean Wesley Smith wrote a 70,000 word novel in 10 days. He was ghostwriting at the time. He didn't say if he was given an outline. But when he writes for himself he's a pantser. Also keep in mind that he's been a professional writer for a long time.
Plus, I know a cozy mystery writer who writes 10k words a day. I've read her stuff, and it's good. (Edited to add the info about the second prolific author.)
