Are you really sure it's really frozen?
I did a factory reset on a Glo a few weeks ago (I was forced to by the device, I had no other option). And it took a very, very long time to install. It really looked frozen but got back to normal. It was actually reset to one of the earliest firmware versions. I was on holiday and had only access to unstable wifi, so opted not to upgrade the firmware. I then inserted the sd-card again with comics on it, it took the Glo 28 hours (!!!) to digest the comics. After that it functioned again.
