That's fair enough. My problem was buying books that looked interesting and were on special offer.

I still haven't quite overcome that, but I am getting a bit better about it.

But the one thing a bog TBR does is allow one to wait for discounts for books that one does want. My average purchase price for this year is £0.93! And even ignoring the Fantasy Magazine back issues, it's only £1.52. For books that I really want to read - of the 62 non-back issue books I've bought this year, I've only got 15 unread - and 8 of those are later volumes in series where I haven't caught up yet.

On the whole, I'm doing OK.
