Did your calibre folder backup have a subfolder named "plugins"? I thought that is where all the info was kept.
Maybe ask in the Calibre forum. They are much more knowledgeable than I am. Also super friendly.

I have the subfolder, but I had to enter each one again. I still don't have a 'config' file, but if anyone knows where it's located I'd sure like to back it up. What a pain.
I had to create new libraries, build them that way, then merge the old files into the new, then it would let me save them that way with the old names and delete the new ones. I have NO idea why this happened, or how I got to work really. I'm just relieved that they're all still there and hopefully all working now. I'm not going to attempt to sync or anything right now and I'll just hope for the best when the time comes. I'm so over this today, off to read and try to relax with what's left of the day.
So to answer questions about backing up, yes, appdata>roaming>calibre helps immensely, but not as easy as you might think either.

Thank you to those who helped, much appreciated.

I apologize for getting off topic. Hope you all have a nice weekend.
