Oh I am not against it and in some story's you need it,like a map.
But last week I had one where the actual book was 200 KB.
The front was a .JPG file, 2416x4288, more then 2 megabytes in size, 300 DPI, 24 bits of color.
That is overkill.
For sure,the devices rendered it well.. but how many times do you look at that cover, at 6 inch it is hard to see small details.
For sure,there are books that are more then worth it,with pictures of stunning colors,but then I think most of the current e-readers are not the ones you would use to watch those books.
The screensave books I mentioned on the device can be use to show what the device is capable of but on the other hand they mislead you because 99% of the bookcovers and included pictures are not adapted in the same way and look totally different.
I wish all of my pages of all my books look like the examples that are there for my Glo,beautiful sharp,dark,perfect contrast, perfect black sharp letters on a perfect white background.
Hence, if they even come near the examples,I would not buy the Glo HD..
