He's a lightweight! It just looks like a lot of shoes because they're still boxed. My DH is a serious clotheshorse. The bedroom next to ours is converted to his dressing room. He owns 150 to 200 pairs of shoes. He tends to buy in multiples when he finds a style he likes and fits. In our bedroom he has a massive armoire just for his in season dress pants and sport coats. It holds 25 sport coats and 50 pairs of dress pants. He has at least 200 dress shirts. Again he buys multiples of shirts he likes. Oh yeah, he stores out of season clothes in our finished basement and easily fills a large walk-in closet and 10-12 tubs.

In his defense, he almost always buys on sale, frequently with huge discounts. He also has to dress well for his occupation (sales engineer in high tech) and I knew about his clothing habit when I married him.

I enjoy nice clothes, too but I'm notoriously difficult to fit.

Count me in as one who gets tired of the same old tropes in genre fiction. I recently finished the Black Dagger Brotherhood and Fallen Angel series (to date) and while they are quite good I found myself occasionally eye-rolling at some of the predicability because tropes gotta trope.

Currently rereading ASOIAF (Game of Thrones) as I keep yelling at the TV.
