I am a long-term lurker of these great boards and have spent many an hour just looking around and learning.
Now I find myself with my own query which I cannot find a solution for so I am hoping someone can help me with solving this.
When I select 2 or more books by the same author from my Calibre library and click the send to device it only copies over one book.
If I then select the un-copied books and click the send to device again it replaces the original sent book with the next book I have selected from the same author.
I am sure this is me configuring something incorrectly but for the life of me I can not figure out what...
It will show all the books on both Kindles if I drag and drop them manually from my Calibre library to the documents folder on the Kindles.
This issue started yesterday. Prior to yesterday the Paperwhite did not have this problem and had multiple books in its library from the same author.
What has changed -
- My partner received their new Kindle Voyge and after setting it up correctly this issue of one book per author is happening to them
- I by proxy how have their "old" Kindle Paperwhite and after deregistering and registering under my account and resetting the device this issue is now showing on the Paperwhite
All our books are in AZW3 format and neither Kindle has any books on them now apart from the shipped with user guide and directories.
I'm using the latest version of Calibre 2.28 64bit and its running on a windows 7 laptop.
I am at a complete loss as to why this is happening and really hope someone can help me sort this out.
Sorry for the long(ish) post but I've tried to give as much detail as possible.
