@Plaquard : - click the brown book bottom left corner to display book details, if you don't want them in the right sidebar, set in Preferences->Look and Feel->User Interface layout to Narrow, do a restart and they'll be under the carousel - with no need to click anything.

Well I thought the above would be OK. But it doesn't work as I expected, the 'carousel' gets moved to the right sidebar. I'm not sure how its supposed to work but IMO that configuration (narrow and full screen carousel) is a bit odd - in terms of what it does.

But it works OK with User Interface layout set to Wide, the book details will be displayed on the right. You can control what columns get displayed in the Preferences->Look and Feel->Book Details tab...
