Well JE Plum series Stephanie is a slob and Ranger is a neat freak. I've read other books the same way. Most are first person written or miltary hero. I think authors like to make opposites of the h/h for a more interesting read.
As for shoes I own three pairs. I had my tennys for 8 years and last year got two pairs of flats for dress occasions. I'm flat footed so shoes don't excite me. Had I pretty feet I'd probably have more. My mom in her old age has turn into clothes addict. She has a walk in closet full of shiny, glittery bedazzled clothes. I just experience yesterday going shopping with her.
OMG! It was not fun. Her and Lula could have the same taste. Did I mention my mom is 75 years old! Hubby had to set her straight that I cannot wear anything sexy or see through so I got 6 t-shirts with glittery patterns on them.
