How? I can't think of any reason for this and have never had any problems. I don't think I would have both open when the ereader is connected, but even that is unlikely to be a problem.

Kobo explicitly asked about the performance problems. But, I as I don't see the problem, I can't help. I'm considering putting the H2O back to 3.13 and seeing if I can see any difference as I upgrade. I might do that over the weekend if nothing more exciting comes up.
