Simple.. as long as it doesn't get ejected,you can go to the .kobo directory and remove the upgrade,then disconnect... didn't thought about that.. I didn't installed the desktop software because it interfears with my adobe digital editions.
I do hope Kobo developes a new firmware fast,because from what I read on other boards,people bring their Kobo HD back because of the lag and other things,not realising it is only the software (I hope) but if you are used to a Sony, you get most of the time just one update and after that there is none in years,so a lot of people don't realise that Kobo brings an update almost every month.
I hope u are betatesting a new firmware already
