Alaskan Summer by Marilou Flinkman is #654 in the Heartsong Presents line of f/m inspirational romances (now being reprinted as Truly Yours Digital Editions), this one apparently part of an unofficial series (there's another book by the same author titled as "Alaskan X" which seems to be in the same setting) set in modern-day Alaska, starring a young woman who takes a summer job in the state and meets a young man left bereft after his father's death and his mother's subsequent move away from their hometown, free courtesy of Christian publisher Barbour.
Currently free, probably just for the rest of the day @
Amazon (available to Canadians & in the
UK). Apparently this is a lingering freebie which has expired everywhere else, as it was still free at Kobo US when I spotted and started checking it late yesterday before I fell asleep, but no longer. Sorry about that.
