There are some complications with using delete as a toggle. The user can select a mixture of deleted and not deleted items. I left editing as an alternate way to undelete an item.
As a bonus: - I added "editing" of the previous value column as undo, either of a delete or of changes to the tag's value.

Re bonus item #2 - Tag editor in Book List. Some folks might not want to lose the way it works now - ie edit in line after F2, that's why I suggested:
