+1 for that one. I finished them all and cant wait for the 5th in October. I've listened to all of them as the narrator is superb.

Diana Rowland worked as a bartender, a blackjack dealer, a pit boss,
a street cop, a detective, a computer forensics specialist, a crime scene investigator, and a morgue assistant, which means that she's seen a lot of weird crap.
She won the marksmanship award in her Police Academy class, has a black belt in Hapkido, has handled numerous dead bodies in various states of decomposition, and can't rollerblade to save her life.
Believe me when I say that when the author knows what she's talking about shows as a major strength in these books. Because the main character Angel Craford ends up working in a morgue and around cops. Rowland's experience shows through the believability of her prose. She's not just making shit up, even though it's a fantasy book.
