How I'm living with it now rather than bothering trying to download back to 3.14.0 (which I'm not sure anyone has tested to see if it's better at turning pages or not) is simply to start the page turn sooner when I have about a sentence left instead of just a few words. The page is then turned right when I need it without me waiting for it and getting aggravated over it.

Since we know it's capable of of turning pages fast, I'm sure it will be fixed in future firmware updates, but with Kobo, you never know when. Starting the page turn sooner than usual just avoids any frustration over it.
