Just finished 'Fated' from Benedict Jacka. Quite late, I know...
I liked the book in general, although I do think it was a bit too easy and Deus Ex Machina scenario. I almost never judge a writer by his first book, so I will read the next book as well. I did like Alex Verus for the most part, but the other characters are a bit bland I think.
