You can enhance your reader.

Further, put this line in your kobo configuration file: (In the .kobo\kobo directory you will find a file named Kobo eReader.conf)

[FeatureSettings]
LeanAndMean=false

That makes the ghosting a lot less, and if u double tap on the screen,it will refresh now.
