I have been playing around with my content server, and thought to try one of my virtual libraries instead of the whole content.
I have found something a little strange, which I cant quite understand.
So, if I have my CS set as default, ie not applying any particular virtual library, and then press the test server button, I get a browser page open, and I can access all my content. If I leave this page open, but then go back and change the server settings to point to say, one of my virtual libraries, and then stop/restart the CS, press the server button again, I get a second browser page open, but this time, I just have access to the appointed virtual library.
However, if I go to the first browser page (the one that showed my full content), it still allows me access to all of my content, even though it has the exact same address as the newly opened one, which is restricted to the one library.
I hope this makes sense….
So, is this a glitch, or a security issue, or just the way things are supposed to work?
