There have been plenty of reports to their support staff by now. Clearly, Kobo managers (or at least, their current owners in Japan) do not care at all. The problem has existed for at least 18 months. At first they were asking for devices to be returned, then they were swapping them for other models, now they are reportedly refusing to help at all.
I certainly will not buy any more hardware or e-books from Kobo. But evidently they don't care about that either.
