I will second the leave the specific font to the user (besides the license fee for many is outrageous)

Stay basic: serif, sans-serif, bold, italic, underlined...

Except for special (fun) cases where you might want a display type font fot Titles or first letter.

SmallCaps is another problem. You best fake them and avoid text-transform
