The recent video shows a front light layer on the i86, but the device reviewed in that link doesn't have one. Perhaps the latest incarnation is much different, and not nearly as bad as the one reviewed. I have to say, as an Inkpad owner, I'm a bit jealous of the screen on the i86. It looks much sharper, with better contrast.
My 8" Inkpad is much more comfortable to hold for long periods of time than my 9.7" 902, so there's that to think about, as well.
