Yeah, it's just for regular book reading, no need for PDFs or a pen in my case.

The 9.7" Hanvon size is nice, kind of like the old hard-covers. It has apparently a nice front light. But the pen bulge is what bothers me.

I am a bit hesitant to wait for the 8" Onyx, partially because nobody seems to know when it will come out to market and partially because of prototype reviews like this:
