Three years ago, Jellby had given me a way to do it with fontforge and another font.

To add the #8239 character, just open your font in FontForge, select the space character (#32, before the !), copy it (Ctrl+C), go to #8239 (View -> Go to, write 8239), paste (Ctrl+V), double-click the character and drag the vertical line somewhat to the left, to make the space narrower. The nbsp is here glyph number 160. There is a written ref to u202F... There is a red cross on 8239.. Maybe...
EDIT: this is the way to go. It's working very well and I had the nnbsp correctly displayed on koreader.
