Cool Jim at Denver Comic Con with Gemr Charity Event

Jim at Denver Comic Con with Gemr Charity Event

This Memorial Day weekend, Jim will be out at Denver Comic Con signing autographs and discussing his upcoming Cinder Spire series. This time, we’re doing things a bit different. Jim will also be signing autographs at the Gemr booth #341. Gemr is a new social site for collectors to share whatever it is they collect with other like minded folks. You can also buy and sell on the site. They’re a start up based out of New Hampshire and have been live since January. Why should you care about some start-up based out of New Hampshire? For every person that signs up to their site via this link http://gemr.it/1JFmFqu, Gemr is going to donate $2.00 to the Missouri Pit Bull Rescue, a charity that is doing awesome things to rehab abused pit bulls and also educate the public on an often misunderstood breed.

Also, if you want to effectively double the amount that Gemr will be donating on your behalf, all you have to do is upload two additional items to the site. Gemr will be donating $1.00 for each additional item, up to $2.00 extra. That’s an opportunity to donate $4.00 to a charity just by signing up.

If you want to get something signed by Jim, or even just get a picture, swing by the Gemr booth, again booth #341, and sign up. They’ll be handing out tickets to the first 110 people that get there each day looking to get something signed (so Jim can have plenty of time to chat with folks as he’s signing). Here are the times that Jim will be at the booth each day:

Saturday the 23rd – 5:30pm
Sunday the 24th – 4:00pm
Monday the 25th – 1:00pm.

If you want to read more about what the folks at Gemr are going to be doing at the show, you can check out their blog post here.

Again – to have your sign up count for donation purposes, be sure to click this link here http://gemr.it/1JFmFqu and it will take you over to their page!
