Men's business fashion seems to change on the scale of decades, at least in overall look. (Lapels, collars, buttons and vents seem to change more quickly.) I've no idea how to move it more quickly. Perhaps if the younger British male royals set a trend?
I'd welcome a return to more interesting male attire, as in upper class 18th century, for example.
