Your are right, we have better options for an ereader but the current screen is good enough for being used professionally. I use it every day for reading scientific papers and my eyes don't suffer eye-strain. The quality of a screen depend on not only in resolution but also on flicker, refresh, sharpen, etc... that traits are responsible of eye-strain. So, with 1200x825 resolution and good drivers it is enough. Over M96 the problems are in the hand of Onyx developers and designers, they produce high price rubbish, but at least the screen is good enough.

In the case of i86 the screen is less white than our M96 screen, that the reason I prefer my M96 because the screen whiteness is the most for reading.
