Capricorn - IMO calibre's keyboard shortcuts facility is far and away the
best-of-breed. I wish all software had similar flexibility and usability. My experience is that most aren't even in the same race, and the rest don't even come close.
Here are the shortcut defaults

Alt/C - Count Pages plugin
Alt/M - Modify plugin

cybmole - I have to respectfully disagree.
IMO there's no longer any need for the plugin - the new built-in Open With is much better. You might want to check it out. I have removed the OW PI. There may be some 'corner cases' where the PI is needed - but I haven't found one.
