I haven't come across this problem before or seen it reported on these forums. It sounds like the problem may be peculiar to your hardware rather than Moon, or perhaps the combination of the two. Have you tried other Android reading software? I believe Aldiko and Mantano are good. There is also an Android version of KOReader, though I'm not sure if this is ready for Prime Time on all devices.
