But my Glo HD is literally painfully slow turning pages. That is running epubs, not kepubs.

What kinds of speeds are other people getting? I am comparing it to a Nook ST (rooted, using Alreader) and a Sony T2. Both seem faster. One difference is that the T2 and the Nook seem to merge the two pages. It's hard to explain. But the Kobo seems to clear the screen entirely between pages. I'm not talking about the page-refresh every six page turns.

What speeds are other people getting? Please state what you are comparing it to. Perhaps the problem is not common to all Glo HDs?
