When dealing with language and the representation of language, it is especially important to look at the attendant motivation that guides that representation. Communication (again, in the post above) is used as a pragmatic end taken to an extreme, and posits a rhetorical stance beyond the mere use of rhetoric. It is presented as an agenda.
Keeping these things in mind is helpful when an individual (any individual) makes sweeping, judgmental statements presented as factual statements when, in fact, they may not be that at all.

Many people have asked for more options for these settings.
I know my settings are not typical and that's my opinion of what I like. But to give more normal settings like say 1/2 the spacing used would be better for a lot of people (IMHO).
