It's keeping my interest, and although not the deepest writing I've ever encountered, nor the most surprising plot, it's a pleasant read. It does feel as if I've dropped into the middle of a series though. I'm not champing at the bit to start on book #1 in the series but I'll most likely begin it ... some day.
