Hi,
This is not a hack. It is an app that creates a swap file like that exists in a normal computer. The result is an "increase" of the device ram, with the downfall of performance if the apps running require, mostly, many write cycles.

I would like to remind that is still possible to run this version of android from the external sd card on Kobo Glo. For that follow the step in section - Installing (?) Android on Kobo -, point 2., of the embryo Android on Kobo: "Tips and Apps"
