I had 10061 in there and was DOA and it wouldn't open up the settings app to upgrade and that was the case on 2 different machines. One was a desktop and the other a Macbook Pro running a Virtual Machine.

I tried fixing it from some info I found on the Insiders Forum but at that point it rewrote the boot instructions so instead of stopping at the boot selection screen where I could pick either 7 or 10, and it would just run 10 so I was stuck.

I disconnected the drive from the system but then I was getting a boot error so I was going to wipe and re install.

I first tried to reinstall from the 10074 ISO but Windows didnt like the file. I tried to run it from a bootable USB and a DVD but neither would run. So at that point I re installed 7 and went through the upgrade process but after 2 attempts and failures I stopped.

Im re downloading the ISO again and am going to try a fresh DVD and see what happens.
