I'm surprised to hear that text on the Glo HD is not as sharp as on the Voyage. People have reported that the lighting on the Voyage is a cooler shade compared to the warmer shade on the Glo HD. Could that be the reason? I'd imagine that e-ink on a cooler background would pop out more than on a warmer background.
How do they compare in daylight with the lighting on the devices turned off completely?
