I was hoping this, too. As it is, navigating search results on a Kindle is really clunky and slow.
Even better would be a pop-up window, like on the home screen, that allows you to input what page of search results you'd like to skip to instead of having to go through each page one by one.
(And I did make these suggestions to Amazon, though who knows if it will make a difference.)
P.S. I prefer left-aligned, no hyphenation, and I'm fine with the stock line-spacing options, though I tweak my margins through CSS and use the
font_ramp hack to adjust font-sizes
