Woops, I was thinking it was the first with no light button and the power button rather than the slider. In that case, the factory reset is:

- Make sure the device is charged.
- Ensuring the device is off by holding the power slider in the off position for at least 20 seconds.
- Hold the light button down.
- Turn the device on.
- When the LED start to flash, release the light button.

And checking the google translate of the thread, NiLuJe has made a comment about not thinking this would work, or at least the corner tapping version, because the software hasn't been loaded. But, this is happening earlier and is being caught by the kernel or bootloader or maybe even the hardware. As none of those have been changed by XCSoar, this should still work.
