Free (nook/Kindle/ePub/DRM-free) In Grandma's Attic [Xtian Kids Retro Family Stories]

In Grandma's Attic by the late Arleta Richardson (Wikipedia) with new illustrations by Patrice Barton is the 1st in her Grandma's Attic series of kids' heartwarming family nostalgia novels starring a young girl who goes through the titular attic and finds various items to ask her grandmother about, thus leading to intergenerational bonding over old tales, free courtesy of Christian publisher David C. Cook.

Apparently, this has previously been offered free in 2013, but doesn't seem to have been mentioned on MR, so we might as well just treat it as a new freebie for today, especially since I've a medical appointment upcoming and don't want to have to deal with anything else for the next while.

Currently free @ B&N (also UK), Amazon (available to Canadians & in the UK), Google Play (available to Canadians), and also ChristianBook (DRM-Free ePub available to selected countries), and may also be free at other venues listed on the publisher's catalogue page, and might also drop later @ BookShout (online reading & in-app download) as DCC freebies sometimes do, and iTunes, where this seems to be skipped this time around.

Description
A young girl delights in her grandmother’s stories of days gone by, sparked by keepsakes and simple questions, Grandma shares marvelous stories of mischief, discovery, and laughter, such as the time she accidentally lost the family buggy.

Part of the bestselling Grandma’s Attic series, these charming tales—updated with delightful new illustrations—will whisk you away to another time and place. And you’ll find something worth far more than any treasure or keepsake…timeless lessons of life and faith!
