That will enable the "Show header and footer" option in the reading settings.

There is no need to patch for this if you are only reading epubs, but if you read kepubs there are patches to fix some problems that occur with kepubs in full-screen mode.

That's much better. Thanks.

But there is still always at least one empty line at the bottom. It gets smaller as I decrease the font size, so I assume the device is leaving a space equal to one empty line at the bottom.

When the last sentence is very long, the more than one blank line, apparently deciding to continue the long sentence on the next page. When the sentence is four or fives lines long, the gap at the bottom gets very big.

Is there anything I can do about this?
