I recently moved from a Paperwhite 2 to a Voyage.

The thing that brought this about was that I needed the extra storage. Cloud storage is nice, but many to most of my books were not purchased from Amazon (Baen, Gutenberg, and Calibre), so I need more local storage. This has always been the Achilles' heel of Kindle, not accepting flash memory. So I broke down and bought a Voyage.

Immediate observation is that it is noticeably sharper than the Paperwhite 2. I was initially turned off by the location of the power switch (no pun intended) but I found something interesting. I use an Oberon Design cover and ordered a new one for the Voyage. I expected the power switch location to be a major pain with the Oberon cover but I found that the Voyage seems to have a magnetic switch like my iPad and the Oberon cover seems to have the required magnet so closing the cover shuts off the Voyage and opening it turns the Voyage on. I have found no documentation for this, either in the Kindle manual or the Oberon information, but it definitely solves my power switch problems in the nicest possible way.
